ABOUT

My "Story as of NOW".

In late December 1999, I was living in Watertown New York. Far from any place related to photography. However, this small town had some interesting and captivating places, that at times, looked like they were straight out of a travel brochure. I decided I wanted to capture the places and moments for myself. The week before the New Year, I bought a Ricoh Super 35mm SLR. I stopped by a local dive on the way home for a late lunch, Club Clueless, I was getting use to the feel of it when the Owner approached me with a proposal. He wanted a few photographers in the club for the New Year's Eve party. I jumped at the chance. During the week leading up to the party, I took every opportunity to practice and build an understanding of basic photography. As I built my portfolio, my reputation as a patient gentleman grew among those of the fairer sex and even more so with those in alternative lifestyles. The New Year's Eve party was a great success and I was asked to return many times, most memorably for a Drag Queen contest.

In the years to follow, I was invited or hired to work with Harley Davidson Iron Block, Gallery, Hooter's (Syracuse & Pensacola) Swimsuit Contest, submissions photos for the Hooter's Swimsuit Calendar (Panama City, Fl) and most recently submission sets for Suicide Girls and God's Girls. I had the unique opportunity to shoot in, during and around a training fire with the Semmes Volunteer Fire Dept. I was afforded this chance because of my military background and some of the photos I had taken at the New Orleans Audubon Zoo.

I have become known for the natural and organic look to my work. I don't "Photoshop" my work and only minimally edit if it is absolutely necessary. I like knowing that it was my skill as a photographer and the beauty of the subject that created what you will see presented here. I am, however, working on making the images HD.
